Payment Options
As of May 1, 2023, All Shop USask Campus Locations have transferred to cashless operations. The following payment methods will be accepted at our locations across campus:
- Debit card
- Credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express)
- Visa or MasterCard Gift Card
- Shop USask Gift Card
- Apple Pay
- Android Pay
Cash will continue to be an accepted form of payment at our Preston Crossing location, along with the payment methods listed above.
The following methods of payment are accepted on our online store:

- Please note that when using a Visa or MasterCard debit card, we will not be able to process refunds to this form of payment.
- Shop USask gift card
Personal cheques are not an accepted form of payment.
For card holder security, all credit cards must be in the presenter's name and transactions must be completed with the entry of a PIN or signature.
ATTENTION PARENTS: If a student needs to return items purchased with a parent's credit card, we must contact the card holder to confirm before the return/exchange can be processed.
Returns
Course Materials
We are now in our extended returns period for course materials, meaning that all course materials purchased after Monday December 9 2024 can be returned until Friday January 24, 2025. Eligible items must be in exact store-bought condition and be accompanied by the receipt. Items marked as final sale are non-returnable. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse returns of any product that does not meet our requirements.
General Merchandise
As part of our extended holiday return period, all general merchandise purchases can be exchanged or returned until January 5th. Eligible items must be in exact store-bought condition and be accompanied by the receipt. Items marked as final sale are non-returnable. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse returns of any product that does not meet our requirements.
If you are unable to get to one of our locations to make a return, please send the item(s) to the following address with your receipt and we will process your refund:

Extended Returns Period
At the beginning of the fall and winter semester, the normal returns period for course materials is extended to coincide with registration deadlines for class changes and drops. The extended returns period for the fall semester runs from early August to mid-September and for the winter semester from mid-December to late January.No Returns Period
There is a NO RETURNS period for course materials at the end of the fall and winter semester in which all course materials are final sale. The no returns period for the fall semester runs from late November to mid-December and for the winter semester from late March to the end of April.
Pick-up and Shipping Options
Pick-up
We are currently offering pick-up at all of our retail locations. Your order will take approximately 2-3 business days to process once it has been placed, however during the back to school rush periods orders typically take 3-5 business days to process. Once your order has been processed you will receive an email with your receipt followed by a second email which will let you know that your order is ready for pick-up.
Shop USask at Preston Crossing pick-up hours are as follows:
Monday - Saturday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, Thursdays: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
Sunday and Statutory Holidays: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
Shop USask Bookstore is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Shop USask Health Sciences is open Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm but closes for lunch from 11:15 am - 12:00 pm.
Please note that both Shop Usask Bookstore and Shop USask Health Sciences are closed weekends and statutory holidays.
Shipping
We currently offer expedited shipping in Canada through Canada Post, though some restrictions apply. Your order will take approximately 2-3 business days to process once it has been placed, however during the back to school rush periods orders typically take 3-5 business days to process. Shipping rates will be calculated at checkout once you have input your address, and once your order has been processed shipping speeds between major urban centres are as follows:

Please note that these delivery standards are for items sent between most major urban centres and are estimates only. These standards are based on normal delivery conditions and are subject to change without notice. The on-time delivery guarantee may be modified during peak periods (see canadapost.ca/notice) or suspended due to causes beyond Canada Post's reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, epidemics, labour disruptions, equipment failures or unanticipated surges in volume. If you are unable to select shipping during checkout you are likely trying to purchase an item that cannot be shipped to your location. If this happens, please email bookstore@usask.ca and we will be happy to discuss options with you.
For international orders, please contact us at bookstore@usask.ca and we will provide a quote for shipping. Please note that due to changing rates a shipping quote is only valid for 5 days, at which point you will need to request a new quote.
